Danny completed his clinical Master of Science degree in Chiropractic at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in Glamorgan. He has a strong professional background in sport and exercise, having played academy level football with a professional team.
Danny became interested in the musculoskeletal functioning of the body when he suffered a series of sports related injuries whilst playing academy level football. With an already strong academic background in biology and chemistry, he successfully completed his Chiropractic Masters degree in 2011.
An Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP), Danny is permitted to treat athletes at international sports events such as the Olympics and World games. He most recently supported the British Athletics Masters 2015, treating competing athletes with existing or new injuries.
As well as using traditional Chiropractic techniques, Danny uses a variety of myofascial release techniques, stretching techniques, acupuncture and taping to achieve optimum function for patients.
He is a keen and active sportsman whose interests include football, tennis, golf, body conditioning, fishing and surfing. He regularly posts on his Chiropractic blog ‘Chirobeans‘, designed to help Chiropractic patients and athletes understand more about Chiropractic and their injuries.
Danny is a full member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA), the Royal College of Chiropractors (CoC), the British Chiropractic Sports Council (BCSC), the European Chiropractors Union (ECU) and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). He is recognised by many private healthcare insurance providers.
