An Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP), Danny treats athletes at international sports events such as the Olympics and World games, and the British Athletics Masters. This enables him to bring a wide range of experience to the fore when treating both sporting and non-sport chiropractic patients with “everyday injuries” in clinic.
Danny became interested in all things musculoskeletal when he suffered a series of sports related injuries whilst playing academy level football with a professional team. With an already strong academic background in biology and chemistry, he then went on to successfully complete his Chiropractic Masters degree.
As well as using traditional Chiropractic techniques, Danny uses a variety of myofascial release techniques, stretching techniques, acupuncture and taping to achieve optimum function for patients.
Danny is also professionally trained to help pregnant patients with common problems such as back pain, pelvic pain, PGP and SPD. He uses an effective treatment method incorporating the ‘Webster technique’, that involves gentle soft tissue work on areas of discomfort around the pelvis and spine to help ease the aches and pains commonly experienced during pregnancy. This helps to mobilise the joints, and is coupled with a home care plan to make sure pregnant patients know what to do at home to help themselves as their pregnancy progresses.
Lastly, but by no means least, Danny is a keen and active sportsman whose interests include football, tennis, golf, body conditioning, fishing and surfing.
Danny is a full member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA), the Royal College of Chiropractors (CoC), the British Chiropractic Sports Council (BCSC), the European Chiropractors Union (ECU) and is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). He is recognised by many private healthcare insurance providers.
