Sports Injuries
Chiropractic treatment can help with many of the symptoms of sports injuries. It aims to restore good ranges of joint motion, joint flexibility, muscle function, overall control and co-ordination, as well as to assist the development and maintenance of muscle strength. During a course of treatment, and/or whilst concentrating on injury prevention, a Sports Chiropractor at our Gloucester based clinic can also help develop your approach to sport pre and post participation. We will include key components such as warm up, cool-down, in game technique, injury education, off season rehab, and other factors that aid performance.
Our Chiropractors are all registered with events sanctioned by the British Chiropractic Sports Council. Simon Rose is a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner who conducts detailed gait analyses and tailors bespoke orthotics, and Danny Adams is one of the only Chiropractors in South West with the required qualification to treat injuries at major International sporting events, including the Olympic and World Games.
