Kate, the team’s therapist here at our clinic in Gloucester, treated at the 2012 London Olympics and is registered with The Sports Massage Association. She is highly skilled and experienced at working with her clients on improving the function of their muscles.
Sports soft tissue Therapy also known as ‘deep tissue massage’ is specifically aimed at promoting faster healing of strained muscles, reducing pain, and at improving the circulation of blood and improving lymphatic drainage. This also helps with relieving tension, stiffness and muscles spasms, as well as by increasing joint flexibility and range of motion. Our therapist is also well trained in dealing with how to body functions as a whole, the relationship between the muscles and the subsequent affect on preventing injuries and their recurrence.
