After completing a Batchelor of Science degree with honours in Sport Science at Coventry University, Simon gained a place at the University of Surrey’s European Institute of Health and Medical Science in Guildford where he completed a clinical Master of Science degree in Chiropractic.

With a strong professional background in sport, exercise and rehabilitation, Simon has developed a special interest in spinal and extra-spinal rehabilitation to assist recovery from chronic musculoskeletal dysfunction. Other professional interests include low back pain, neck sprain injuries, sports injuries, and soft tissue therapy.

Simon has been in private practice for 10 years, having previously worked in Bristol until branching out on his own and starting up the Longlevens Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic in 2004.   His reputation amongst patients and other local healthcare professionals for providing quality, effective care, is extremely strong.

With full registration under the General Chiropractic Council, Simon is also a full member of the British Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors and British Chiropractic Sports Council.  Simon is also a qualified tutor on the College of Chiropractor’s PRT training scheme for new graduates.

As a registered treatment provider with all the main health care insurance companies, Simon is able to offer treatment plans though a wide range of different policies. Healthcare insurance companies include BUPA, AXA PPP, Norwich Union, Simply Health, HSA and Standard Life.

Simon enjoys a wide range of sports such as football, rugby, volleyball and cricket. As a very enthusiastic golfer Simon has competed at club, county, and regional levels and has a current playing handicap of two.

He first became interested in chiropractic when he injured his back through sport and made a successful recovery through seeing a chiropractor. Following on from this he enrolled at the University of Surrey for the Chiropractic Masters Degree course.

The multidisciplinary team at the Longlevens Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic is growing and Simon would like to hear from registered Podiatrists/ Chiropodists, Sports Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists or people from similar professions who would be interested in joining the team.
