Kate graduated from the University of the West of England with a Sports Conditioning degree and began her career in the sports and physical education sector. She then qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist with SPS Learn through Teeside University.
A passionate and outstanding Massage Therapist who achieves excellent results, Kate enthuses about Massage and it’s many benefits, which include reducing muscle tension, restoring mobility to injured muscle tissue, maintaining flexibility of muscles and therefore mobility of the body, and helping to prevent further injury.
She is a keen and active sports woman herself who enjoys playing and coaching netball for a local Gloucestershire team. She pursues many outdoor activities such as triathalons and mountain biking and ensures that she stays active in the gym through resistance training, which aids her abilities and strength as a massage therapist. Kate possesses a seemingly endless energy, and is a driving force in the annual clinic sponsored charity events!
Kate’s professional background in education has enhanced her naturally strong communication and interpersonal skills. She is extremely well liked, and connects and communicates exceptionally well with patients of all ages, whether they are suffering from a sports or a non-sports related injury, looking simply to prevent injury, or achieve maximum levels of wellbeing, relaxation, mobility, and flexibility.
Kate is a member of the Sports Massage Association, and also holds qualifications in Pregnancy Massage, Indian Head Massage, Lifting Facial Massage, and acupuncture (dry needling). She continues to further her studies and qualifications.
