She then qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist with SPS Learn through Teeside University. Kate is passionate about sports massage and it’s many benefits which include reducing muscle tension, restoring mobility to injured muscle tissue, and maintaining flexibility of muscles and therefore mobility of the body, helping to prevent injuries.
Kate is a keen sports woman herself and enjoys playing and coaching netball for a local Gloucestershire team. She pursues many outdoor activities such as triathalons and mountain biking and ensures that she stays active in the gym through resistance training, which aids her massage therapy.
Her professional background in education has enhanced her naturally strong interpersonal skills, and she can connect and communicate exceptionally well with patients of all ages, whether they are suffering from a sports or a non-sports related injury, or looking simply to prevent injury and/or achieve maximum levels of wellbeing, relaxation and mobility/flexibility.
Kate is a member of the Sports Massage Association, she also holds qualifications in Indian Head Massage and Facial Lifting Massage and continues to further her studies.
