Daniel trained and qualified at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractors. Prior to qualifying, he enjoyed a successful career in Rugby that culminated with him being selected for the Cardiff Blues Rugby Academy. His playing career was temporarily halted by a shoulder injury, until Chiropractic got him back out on the field, and then his career as a Chiropractor was born…!
Chiropractic can offer much more than care for sports injuries alone, and with a very warm, empathic and personable character, Daniel maintains a keen professional interest in treating sports injuries whilst also providing quality, effective Chiropractic care to a wide range of patients of all ages and backgrounds, with all sorts of sports and non-sports related injuries.
He uses a range of treatment methods, including spinal manipulative therapy, fascial edge tool work, soft tissue work, dry needling, and strengthening exercises to aid recovery.
Behind the scenes Dan is famous for leaving his milkshakes – sorry – protein shakes, around the clinic. He’s currently well on track to achieve his personal goals of bench pressing 100kg and squatting 130kg before then end of this year, and so he has lots of practical advice and treatment plans for those of you who regularly visit the gym (to workout, not for coffee – or milkshakes).
Whilst spending more time socialising with friends and fly fishing in the lakes of South Wales these days than out on the rugby pitch, he is still passionate about his favourite sport, and would enjoy a bit of friendly banter with you about it when you see him!
Oh, and did we mention that he swam for the A-Squad at County level too….
